Care To Share is a program created by Florida Power & Light. FP&L customers have the opportunity to make donations when paying their utility bill to help other FP&L customers in need. The maximum benefit is $350.00. Applicants must be able to document an unexpected expense or unforeseen temporary loss of income and be screened for eligibility by one of the counselors. Payment history with FP&L may also be a consideration. Household's gross income must be at, or below, 150% of the poverty level. See the Income Level chart to figure your household income. Picture ID for applicant, Social Security cards and proof of income for all household members, and original past-due utility bill required. |
